Plastic Surgery
Facial and body procedures with certified surgeons, planned around a private recovery.
What is plastic surgery?
Plastic surgery is the medical specialty that reshapes or restores the face and body, for aesthetic reasons or after changes such as pregnancy or weight loss. Every procedure starts with an assessment by the surgeon, who confirms whether it is right for you, how to combine it safely and how long you should stay before flying home.
Plastic Surgery procedures
- Rhinoplasty: Refines the shape and proportions of the nose and can improve breathing.
- Eyelid surgery (4 lids): Removes excess skin and puffiness from upper and lower eyelids for a rested look. Often combined with another aesthetic procedure.
- Facelift: Repositions deeper facial tissues and redrapes the skin for natural rejuvenation.
- Neck lift: Defines the jaw and neck by treating loose skin and muscle bands.
- Endoscopic brow lift: Lifts the brows and smooths the forehead through small, hidden incisions.
- Otoplasty: Reshapes and sets back prominent ears.
- Breast augmentation: Increases breast volume with implants chosen with your surgeon.
- Breast lift with implants: Lifts and reshapes the breasts while restoring upper volume.
- Breast reduction: Reduces breast size and weight for comfort and proportion.
- Tummy tuck with liposuction: Flattens the abdomen, repairs the muscles and contours the waist.
- Liposuction: Removes localized fat deposits to refine body contour.
- Mommy makeover: Combines breast and abdominal procedures after pregnancy in a single, planned surgery.
- Gynecomastia: Flattens and contours the male chest.
- Arm lift: Removes loose skin from the upper arms, often after weight loss.
- Thigh lift: Tightens the inner thighs by removing excess skin.
Frequently asked questions
How long should I stay in Medellín?
It depends on the procedure: roughly 8 to 14 days for most facial and body procedures, and up to 18 days for combined surgery. Your surgeon confirms the exact stay at the assessment.
Can I combine several procedures?
Sometimes. The surgeon decides based on your health, total operating time and safety. When it is not advisable, we plan the procedures in separate stages.
When can I fly home?
Only once your surgeon clears you after the post-operative checks. The suggested stay already includes that time.
